Rodeo Austin School Tours Information:
Manor FFA has been invited to participate in the Rodeo Austin School Tours program on Thursday, March 21 and we are wondering how many students would be interested in participating. We will need to be at the Travis County Expo Center by 7:45 a.m., so we will have to leave from the MHS Ag. Building by 7:00 a.m. It is important that if you say you want to participate and you get approved, that you show up the day of because students are counting on you.
The Rodeo Austin School Tours program is an opportunity for FFA members to share information about agriculture with elementary school students while serving as tour guides for their class and taking them to see the rodeo grounds.
School tours happen regardless of the weather. Be prepared to be a tour guide in the sun, rain, or wind. We will return to school around 3:00 p.m. (This is an estimate.)
This is a great leadership opportunity, but each student will need to be passing their classes and be approved by their campus administration to be able to serve as tour guides.
Must be completed by Friday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. Yes, we will check grades and attendance! Click the link below to sign up!
